In the UI properties window you can change the layout of the Main view.
You can access this window by selecting the Settings/UI properties... command:
- Tool lines represents the number of toolbar lines.
By default the toolbar is shown in one line, but if you want to access quickly more commands,
you can increase the number of toolbar lines.
- Palette lines represents the number of lines the palettebar is shown. If you are working
with more colors at once, you can increase this number. But if you prefer larger image view and 8 colors
(at the same time) are enough, you can keep this value low.
- Tool columns speciefies how many buttons are in one toolbar line. This is the same as how many
colors are shown in one palettebar line. If you increase this the preview image will be smaller.
- Invobar visible You can toggle the infobar on or off.
- Layerbar visible You can toggle the layerbar on or off.
If you work with more layers the layerbar is very helpfull since you can quickly change layers with it.
But if you are working with one layer only, you can disable it to get a bigger image view.
