    Hi!

I wanted to know where I might find the latest version of StickIt.

Also, it would be interesting to be able to double click (or something) on the note itelself to modify it, or adding maybe other notes…

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi!

The latest version can be found at:
    http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=182125
    (or http://www.saxoft.com/get.php?page=stickit)
I haven’t worked on it since then, so v0.3 is the latest version. However I plan to continue it.. so keep sending the good ideas :-)
Btw, the code is maintained at sourceforge, so if you are a coder, you can even do your own modifications, or build the really-latest version from CVS. (but at the moment the CVS version is the same as the released version)

    Hi,

Thanks for a very useful application! I use it as a reminder of important things I must not forget. As of now I have to leave my phone on all the time, other wise the Stick It text will disappear. Would it be possible to have an option that would let Stick It come back to the screen the way it was when the phone was turned off? If that was possible I could turn my telephone off and be sure that my reminder would be there again when I turned on the phone again.

    Best regards

    Bo Lindström

Hmmm, that was working for me. Stickit was set to autostart, and it stored the text on the memory card. But that was on M600, maybe on the other phones the autostart is not working in the same manner, or the memory stick drive is different. Which phone are you using?

    Hi Pal

Just as i commented on the Clockss page i’m here too with some ideas for StickIt also.

    - Starting with the About option - you should never leave this out- It’s mandatory :P - so that your users know what version they have installed.

    - Another issue is with the fact that if you close the app and then open it again all the settings and text are lost (just as with Clockss) - but i guess you heard that all too many times and probably are thinking of a solution as as i speak. :)

    - Another one would be that between font size Small and Medium the difference is too big - so another size between these 2 would be greatly recommended - or a user number input of the size.

    - And now the most important one: you should set StickIt with the smallest ZOrder possible - that is to be the bottom most application so that when i press the battery sign - to see the tooltip on top and not below StickIt. This goes for all other tooltips and for the Today utility - but i guess they’re just variation of the same issue.

If you have questions or want to find out more ideeas from me fell free to contact me on e-mail.

Anyway I greatly appreciate what you did so far and i’m using both of your applications (StickIt and Clockss) everyday.
    Respect
