ClockSS v0.3
Just some minor updates:
- no need to press ALT, * and # is enough
- you can activate the screensaver immediately from the app
- I also changed some code which decides when to unlock the phone… might be better… or worse, still need to test it
Program has it’s own page now here.
Update: Important: “total lock” is buggy, DONT USE IT IN V0.3!

I get a strange behaviour with v0.3: the phone keeps locked even after * and #?? Had to downgrade to v0.2 to be able to use the phone…
Anyone else with this?

Yes, your right, you msut have “total lock” turned on. Withouth total lock it should owkr. I’ll fix it for the v0.4 release. Sorry

Correct, I turned to “total lock” on. I’ll wait for the new release.
An other thing; I check my mailbox on certain times every day. If I receive any mail, a message is shown asking if I want to open and show the mails, even if ClockSS is active?? (Likewise if I refuse to anser a call, a message is shown).

Well yes, this is because ClockSS is not a real screensaver, just something which behaves like it… I’m working on gathering the information so it will fit/integrate better in the phone’s OS.

Hi again!
Some more suggestions fore the future:
- add a settings if date is to be shown in the screensaver
- add programversion in an about window
- add a shortcut for quick activation of the program from the main screen.
Add some “behaviours”
:
- when I have make a call, ClockSS shouldn’t be able to activate at all during the call, first 1min (or whatever it is set to) after the hangup, it should activate, Or?
- I just opened my activitymanager (icon in bottom right corner of the main screen), selected open programs, and found 2 ClockSS!! Could this be because I’ve installed several versions over each other, without uninstalling or what?

I don’t know why are there two copies of ClockSS, sometimes (but very rarely) it happens with some other apps as well, but mostly with ClockSS.
But it has nothig to do with the repeated installation… I think…
