SourceForge and new icon for Pixy

Let’s start for a more important news for you: I applied for Sourcefoge project hosting for some of the open source UIQ3 programs I wrote. So far StickIt is in CVS (and I will use the SF CVS host from now on, which means the latest version of the source code will be always accessible to the pubic ;-) ), and ClockSS and TOSC is comming soon (the projects are already created, I am importing the code in CVS now.

So, the URLS:

You can use the bug tracking services of SF to post bugs you find in this app. That way it will be easier for me to track them (since right now I got feedbacks, bug reports and feature requests from at least 4 different sources (forums, this blog, emails)). And it’s quite possible that I miss a few bugs.

And now some other topic: today I had to wait a lot (in a hospital), so I tested Pixy by creating some icons (40×40 and 64×64) for it. The 16×16 icon was also made by pixy. They are not perfect, but Pixy is already very usable (more usable then the previous/old UIQ2 version, thanks to the UNDO feature ;-) )

Here are the icons:

    Hello,
I would like to give you a little feedback, ideas and thanks of course of ClockSS ;)

First of all ONE BIG THANKS FOR SOME LIKE CLOCKSS. It’s great idea to make some like this because clocks on M600 are really so small.

Anyway I have few ideas to make it more useful. As I test it I found that it has a little handicap.
When I activate normal key lock and double press some key the screen decrease illumination so saves battery and also when pressing any key (except unlock key) display is lightning just a little so saves battery again.

In ClockSs is not this functionality so display is always lightning as in normal app. (for a long time) Also if I tap on screen or press button the light start shining. So If I put my M600 to pocket it always lightning so battery will die in short time so I cannot use it instead of keylock
:(. If the illumination could be working like in key locked mode it would be perfect tool :) .

Another idea is that it would be nice if there could be added following feature:

On K610i is possible to turn on big clock in background which are lightly transparent. I think on M600 it’s not possible so feature like this will be welcome. (Optional transparency would be nice.)

Please let me know if it is possible to implement some of this ideas. I could be your tester if u want :) (You can contact me at non-published email)

PS: I like the spelling check while writing this :) :) :)

    Hi!

I totally agree with the keylock stuff, and I’m trying to find out how to do it.
I have one idea which might work: I could use the normal keylock feature, and show the clock while the keylock is active. But it at least one problem: I cannot detect if the keylock is on.

I don’t have a k610, so I don’t know what you are talking about :-( You mean in the standby screen there is a big clock? Hmm, that could be done easily… I guess. (on M600 at least)
